Mahalleluia is a four part canon, intricately composed for equal voices on the word “alleluia.” The accompanying soundtrack provides a contemporary, secular context for the ancient expression of praise. The piece has been performed at Montreal’s Nuit Blanche (2013) in Square Victoria metro, and also in a special intervention with the city of Laval bell tower in the Audioparc (2014) sound art series curated by Magali Babin.
