Urgence Chantée was a weekly singing activity in Montreal in 2016 that attracted people from all walks of life. We sang well loved pop songs in easy two or three-part harmonies in both French and English, uniting both predominant cultures in Quebec.  This has a regular effect of accentuating the commonalities of group members, engaging them in team-building activities, and relieving stress through the restorative power of singing.

Kathy Kennedy excels in teaching choral parts quickly and with ease. She finds the simplest but most effective arrangements for today’s hits for maximum appeal. Absolute beginners are always welcome and encouraged.  This activity draws inspiration from the Toronto group called Choir Choir Choir (www.choirchoirchoir.com) covering genres from the Beatles to Jean Leloup, Radiohead to Radio Radio. This workshop is suitable for groups of 20 or more participants, for 60-120 minutes. Contact Kathy Kennedy for fee schedule and a comprehensive song list.
